Foto Sub

Do you like photography?

Learn with the Pura Vida Photo team the sub photo tricks and editing. Also understand how a photographer works in a diving operation and the job possibilities around the world.

How is the organization of the Divemaster + Foto Sub program?

Once graduated and certified as DIvemaster, you will take the SSI UW Photo course with its designated theory classes, dives, skills, and exam, to gain more knowledge and develop in the world of photography.

The pack is divided into the course and professional immersion. Your UW photo classes are held in 2 or 3 days, after your theoretical and practical part, you will accompany and act as an assistant to the Pura Vida photo team during 3 photography sessions for courses and real students, witnessing the creative process of the photo e of the edition.

The price includes all taxes, materials, 2 days of accommodation at La Latina hostel at your arrival and internships with professionals.

Divemaster Explorer

What calls you to dive is the mystery of the unknown? Feeling like exploring inside wrecks and trying out different equipment configurations?

The Explorer pack is a great way to get to the pro level and gain knowledge by exploring a new world.

Divemaster + 2 specialty courses.

How is the organization of the Divemaster Explorer program?

Once you have graduated and certified as DIvemaster, you will have the 3 specialty courses with the aim of exploring the deepest part of Koh Tao and our famous HTTMS Sattakut wreck. In the specialty programs, you will have theory classes, dives, skills, and exam, to gain more knowledge and prepare for more.

Specialty courses:

Nitrox Diver: You will learn to plan and dive with Nitrox or enriched air up to 40% oxygen. Increasing dive safety, lengthening bottom times, and decreasing the need for long surface intervals. This is the perfect course for those who want to have a good life on board.
Advanced Wreck Diving: This course is focused on the penetration and exploration of wrecks. You will enjoy planning and insight into scuba diving on the sunken WWII ship off the island of Koh Tao, the HTTMS Sattakut.
Recreational Sidemount: You will learn to configure the sidemount equipment, plan dives with double tanks on the sides of the body. Diving with this equipment configuration helps you in mobility and is considered much safer, since it has a double air supply.
